2000 people will take part in the Island's biggest parade

We are looking to create the largest ever peoples parade ever held on the Isle of Wight, marching through Ryde. The carnival atmosphere will be electric and will culminate with a gathering at Simeon Street recreation ground where there will be stalls, shows and further performances.

It’s a showcase of what we do well on the Island and what we have locally including:

Medina Marching Band Vectis Corp of Drums and Wight diamonds. Ventnor Comic Jazz Band. Fat samba and Raw Samba. 2 big Carnival clubs, The New Carnival a company and Shade Makers. Cadets and Charities and the Royal British Legion. Vintage cars lorries tractors steam engines. The Masons. Horse and Carriages, the enchanted manor Characters and the Wolfguard. Ryde Extreme performers and Park of the dead along with many others.

The route will be forming up in Dover Street.
Leaving at 1pm up Park Road Into Star Street then right down through the Town to the Sea front along the Esplanade into Simion Rec .

Join the Party

An all day party will be held at the Simeon Recreation ground from 10am – 10pm. Free to enter. Food and drink stands along with other stalls.
