Huge Party at the Rec!
A chance for all ages to celebrate together, for free! An all day party is being held at the Simeon Street Recreation Ground in Ryde for Isle of Wight Day on the 23rd September. Entertainment including vintage Island amusements, speedway bikes, glitter face painting and musical acts and entertainment will take place from 10am to 10pm.
Island Ales are offering a chance to taste our very own Isle of Wight Day
ale for the adults and Plaza Ice Cream for the kids. Other stalls will also be showcasing at the site from wood carvings, to hats and scarves.
2000 IOW day parade members will decend on the Simeon Rec, closing the parade and offering further evening entertainment.
