On 23rd September, the finalists of Island’s Got Talent will be singing, dancing and playing their hearts out for a chance to be crowned the Island’s champion. With performances from talented young musicians, dance outfits and performing arts groups, it promises to be a family friendly evening full of fun and entertainment.
Finalists include 6 year old Harry, piano extraordinaire who already gives regular performances at local venues, Short and Sweet, a professional duo previously seen on X Factor and the Ryde Academy Elite Dance Group, who have performances at the Royal Opera House and Wembley Stadium under their belts.
There are rumours of pop up performances from the finalists in the run up to the final, so keep your eyes peeled if you’re out and about on the Island – you may spot one of the upcoming stars!
Judges Mark King, Anneka Rice and Rob da Bank will be joined by compere Paul Topping for the final. Are the judges excited? ‘I can’t wait’, said Anneka, ‘I look forward to channeling my inner Amanda Holden and discovering some amazing talent’. Mark King has high hopes for what the talented finalists will bring to the stage: ‘I have always thought the island punches well above its weight for talent, so I’m really looking forward to seeing the next generation of Island stars, and finding out who walks away as the winner’.
Join the judges and watch the finalists showcase their talents from 6:30pm on 23rd September at Cowes Enterprise College. Tickets are just £5.00 per adult and £2.50 per child and can be purchased here.
